A couple of my friends are coming to my parents' house for Thanksgiving...
What should I tell them to bring? My Mom said I could ask one of them to bring mini pastries, but is that too much to ask?

I don't think so, if someone was inviting me I'd be grateful and happy to bring whatever they asked.

Not at all! I usually automatically bring a small thing of pastries or cookies and a bottle of wine.
