We will be TTC this fall and I am currently trying to step up my gym routine and get into better shape.

I am just wondering from the BTDT moms..... does being in better shape before getting pregnant help you to lose the baby weight faster and get back into pre-pregnancy weight easier?Chat Icon I am not talking Olympic style quality here..... I am basically JUST getting back into the gym routine after a summer of being lazy. If I get into better shape now, will it make any kind of difference after the baby comes?

Also, what type of exercise is suggested to do WHILE pregnant? I'm getting REALLY motivated right now and I hope to stay in the routine while pregnant...... What is a realistic goal to set, I obviously won't be running on the tredmill then...
