Love them all - especially the last gloves.
I am interested in learning double pointed needles but it looks like alot of work!

You're very talented!

thanks!

double pointed needles aren't that hard to work with.

if you're scared that you'll drop stitches, start with wooden needles; they're "toothier" and hold on to the yarn a bit better.

remember, at the end of the day, it's one stitch at a time and you're really only working with two needles at any given time.

i have worked with dpns, but i prefer to knit on circular needles. my favorite way to make sleeves, socks, gloves/mittens is to work them two at a time on two circular needles. there is much less risk of dropping stitches and you can work both at the same time, side by side.

this way, the items are always the same length. no need to remember how many rows before your next increase or decrease. so if you are winging it or fudge something, they're both the same!!

i don't have an etsy store... although i've thought about it.

when, and if, i get commissioned for an item, it's through word of mouth or someone who has seen what i make.

i'm a sucker for making knitted/crocheted items. so if there's something you're interested in, just let me know.

Have you seen scarflaces?
I made the yarn for it but am busy making a few projects now. Look on etsy - may not be your style. It's simple French Knitting.

Yes they are funky but like necklaces.
I am working on an easy scarf now and then moving on to more complicated (well for me) but I do want to hone my skills.

I find alot of great support on Instagram as a community for knitting and quilting.

I got myself involved in a touring knit scarf. You knit 4" of any stitch you like and then send it to the next person. The finished project goes to someone going through chemo.
