a few people have mentioned CSA's....

can you tell me which one you joined? I am going to join one this year and I am curious the difference in the prices and selections.

(although I am leaning towards golden earthworm - so if anyone has any experience with them please let me know - and do they include flowers?)....

oh and every seems to complain they get too much cabbage?!?

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon OMFG, all I hear from DH is about how we got too much cabbage last year Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon It must have been the season.

FYI, I have some good cabbage recipes. If you do the CSA membership you should definitely look into buying a few seasonal cookbooks...

We joined the Garden of Eve this year. Maybe next year we will try the Golden Earthworm. I know GoE does flowers/eggs/fruit as well as organic veggies.

DH and I took the plunge and joined Golden Earthworm. It's our first time with a CSA, so we'll see how it goes. Meanwhile, I've been exploring all their old newsletters and collecting recipes in advance.

I couldn't talk DH into it this year (saving instead of spending he says) but I have been stalking the Golden Earthworm website for the dates of their Farmer's Market in Islip.
