A Food Prep Debate!
When roasting a whole chicken.. do you truss it?
My husband insists I am the only person on earth who still trusses my poultry. But I don't think that can be true.. especially since trussing makes it cook so nicely and evenly!
So .. do you?

Since I'm a "Rosterphopic" I can't really answer. I will say when we buy them already cooked they are tied.

My mom never trussed a roaster, so I follow her

Depends upon the size of the bird. I always tuck in the wings though. Turkey is always trussed.

I don't cook but am pretty sure that DH ties the legs together w/ his cooking string.

Re: A Food Prep Debate!
I tried. I can't do it. I feel like I'm going to break the legs off.
I let it all hang loose.
