Everytime I see a 'Babies on Board' sign in a car, I wonder what it's really supposed to do.
If I'm in the middle of an accident, am I supposed to see this sign and somehow magically make it that I don't hit that car, but do hit the car that doesn't have the baby sign? Or, if I'm an azzhole driver would that supposedly make me stop driving like a maniac around that car?

I think the baby on board sign's purpose is to let emergency workers know there is/may be a child in the car in case of a horrible accident, car fire...etc.
