a funny that prompts a question
so yeah, yesterday in my amazing awesomeness, I pumped about 20 oz of water all over my right leg, from about mid thigh down as I was getting ready to leave work for the day.
I am throwing a hissy fit and milding freaking out b/c it's cold.
my coworker (who I love) comes and takes a picture of me and is like "is it time! let's go". so excited.
He thought my water broke and was going to take me to the hospital
so the question is...for girls sticking it out at work to the bitter end, do you have an outfit to change in to in case of any accidents? I am planning to leave my hospital bag packed in my car, but I take the train to work so it wouldn't be with me. (I rode the train with a very wet leg and some very interesting stares )
wsjd?

Re: a funny that prompts a question
It's really funny you posted this because I have a fear of my water breaking in the office
Even though I will be living close enough to work that I can grab clean clothes if it happens before I go to the doctor, I may keep a "spare" outfit in the office because I am paranoid!!!! I also thought that maybe I should have a towel too - I know I am crazy

Re: a funny that prompts a question
I think I need to start keeping a spare outfit in my car! I don't want to keep my hospital bag in the car b/c of the toiletry things-sometimes the car gets too hot, but dh has been instructed he needs to bring them should I go into labor when I am not with him. A girl that works here did have her water break at work and walked out with a blanket around her waste-i have one of those in the trunk of my car.

i kept pants in my car. In your case, i'd keep pants in your desk.
My water broke in the Dr's office and I got some pretty nice stares leaving that waiting room.

Re: a funny that prompts a question
if my water breaks at work, im screwed b/c i work in NY and live in pa..lol.
both my brother and father work not too far from me in the city, so someone will be on call to come get me..LOL
and about 2 weeks ago i dumped fruit punch on my new white shirt..i was a hot mess. i went to the company gift store to purchase a penguin Tshirt. I keep meaning to bring in a spare outfit just in case of any more clumsy accidents.
