A great snack that really does the trick for me - wanted to share!
Ladies - everyday, I have a clif bar as a snack. They are 250 calories, which, especially if you are like me and having trouble putting on pregnancy weight, OR, you would go and eat soemthing with the equivalent calories anyway, they really do wonders. They are moist, chewy, heavy (but not in a bad way) and come in lots of really good flavors!
I strongly recommend them. Plus, they NEVER made me nauseous even at the height of my m/s!
If you have peanut allergies, though, I am pretty sure they have nut products in them (well - there are lots of peanutty flavored ones as well!), and made on machinery that makes nut products....

I am a big fan of Clif bars - and Luna bars too! I had a lot of trouble getting my calcium in (I HATE milk!) and they are pretty high in calcium - and yummy and portable to boot!
I get them at Trader Joe's - by all of the power bars.

I think that they are pretty high in carbs, but they are so tasty.

They are high in carbs, but I was never concerned about carbs before pregnancy, and now, they give me the energy I need to work my 12 hour+ days!!!!
ETA: I just looked - 42 grams of carbs! But I have been eating them and still haven't gained a pound! (I mean, after the 5 lbs I gained back after m/s, where I lost 13!!!)
