Was your orginal bid lower than the new asking price?

I would go in with a bid 7-10K below what your final asking price was last time and see if she picks it up. Maybe she thinks you've found another home and may not return. It's worth a shot - she could just say no, but in the positive light - she may jump at it!

Re: A house we bid on just dropped their price
the same thing happened to us on a condo we bid on. asking was $349, we offered $330, he wouldn't even counter. he said he would only go down to 346.
that was in JANUARY and it's still for sale - for 324! that gives me a great deal of pleasure! this guy was a real a-hole. so he got what he deserves.
If you really want it, I would offer 10-5% less. You never know! Good luck!

Bid again. get the comps and bid. There really isn't a formula.

You should definitely make another offer if you are still interested in the house!

if the realtor was doing his job he/she should've called you to see if you were still interested in the house. if you were, he/she should ask if you would like to reinstate your offer.
