a HUGE thank you to my LIF toddler mom helpers!!

So, this weekend we did our first offical "time outs". OMG, I really didn't think it would work but it DID!!!

1st time we did it was when DS went to the dog's water bowl and played in. We gave the warning, then another warning, then I picked him up, sat him in his time out chair. He did it again, but after the second time out, he didn't go back all weekend.

Then, later on he was pretend biting my legs. I removed him, he did it again, gave a warning, then again, put him in the chair, he STAYED for about 30secs and didn't do it again.

OMG, I so didn't think Liam at almost 17mos could "get" the time out thing, but he totally did.

Thanks to all who recommended it.

Next step, getting my DH, MIL & Mom on board with time outs since Mommy is only around on weekends generally.
