A Jekyll and Hyde Personality =) / =(

I'm in the middle of my 4th month and I've gone mad I would say 3x in the past 3 weeks. I was a doll in my 1st trimester. Now I feel really edgey & short tempered at times out of nowhere. For example:

I flipped out at my husband during dinner last night when I told him we should sand the floor in one of the rooms we want to make the nursery in. They don't need to be sanded he said. Then I said we also need to replace the closet door with a new one. The door doesn't need to be replaced he says. I said you know what I'll do it myself. He said fine do it yourself and I freaked out at the table. I think I even said when l buy the door I'll shove it up his *** (not like me) I swear it was like the Exorcist movie or something. I left slamming the door to the bedroom and went to bed. I had a really bad headache before all of this and took two Tylenol. I didn't cry but I was just so I was in their all night while he slept on the couch. Now that he's at work I looked in the room and it really doesn't need to be sanded or the door replaced. I feel like an idiot but the weird part is I'm still ****** at him.

Any moments like this throughout your pregnancy? Does this get worse or will it eventually pass?

It will pass....its just all those hormones..LOL.

I'm at the end of my 6th month and this is just hitting me now! I really feel bad because I feel like aliens take over my body at times. I react to things in ways I never did before.

We will be normal again!

Totally normal. I flipped out on DH because we ran out of MILK.. I even went so far as to use the excuse " you get home in the morning while I"m at work.. you can't check???" (as if I can't check the night before).. Now it's to the point that he makes sure when the milk is low it's replaced.

This is happening to me now. I feel fine one minute and the next, I'm in a funk....

Sounds just like me throughout my first tri!! I was horrible. I even posted on here once or twice b/c I was feeling so bad about the way I was treating DH. I was very short tempered and had no tolerance for him at all. Him playing with the cat annoyed me!! He coughed too loud, moved around too much in bed too much and damnit, he ate my apples!! Hahaha...I was very protective of my apple stash for the week! I must of apologized 1,000 times and he was really good about it.

Luckily, that has now passed and I am almost back to my old self again. Don't know why I had it in my 1st tri and you in your 2nd, but I would just blame it on our wacky hormones !

Don't worry, it will get better!!

Oh yes!!!! I even know I'm doing it, but can't seem to stop it. I know I'm wrong, but it keeps happening. You're not alone!

It will pass. I was a complete psycho (according to my DH) most of my 2nd trimester. Thankfully a lot of it has stopped now that I'm well into my 3rd. I still have a very short temper but I don't freak out over small things, like the grocery store being out of my favorite cookies, like I did before.

Wow, so maybe I will have mood swings yet. I've been really sweet so far and almost never get annoyed about anything (this is a contrast to my usual cranky self). Maybe it's the exhaustion--too much effort to get annoyed!

It's hormones. I flipped out during my 2nd trimester also and wound up breaking some of my dishes It will pass.
