A Kelly Story x2-the bonus edition (LONG)
Since I have a gigantic baby, I was sent AGAIN to get a GD test.  While I was in my 1 hour wait a guy came into the lab for tests. (Keep in mind this is a LARGE waiting room with about 30 chairs and only 2 other people waiting.) He stands right in front of me and proceeds to cough horribly, facing me. He doesn't even cover his mouth. I gave him a look to kill. He then sits down about 3 chairs from me.
I got up to go to the bathroom, leaving my old jacket and magazine at my chair, but taking my purse. I get back from the bathroom and he's now sitting in the chair next to my stuff. I pick up my stuff and move far away from the bronchitis man. He then proceeds to hit on me from across the room.  Guess he wanted to infect me with more than just a respiratory illness.  Now I realize how sexy I am with my giant baby belly and a waddle that models would kill for.

Later tonight we decided to go to Walmart because DH had seen a nice glider at only one particular walmart. We get there, find it (ON SALE!) and DH proceeds to put the box in our cart. We realize it's not the same as the display model. After further review, we can't find the display model and can't find a price for the one we loaded. We asked one worker for help and after 10 minutes of her wandering in tiny circles, waiting for a manager to walk by, I was getting hot and hormonal. I fly up to the front of the store asking for help, saying I was about to have the baby any minute and I just needed some help with the gliders. (We had everything else for the baby. The glider was the only thing left we had to purchase.)
Thank God for one worker (must've been a new mom)!!!!! For a half hour she worked on talking to a million people, including managers, figuring out what the heck was going on with the gliders. During this time, I sat down right on the floor of the glider aisle as DH went to get the rest of what we needed throughout the store. I was not feeling well. A mom, with 2 small children, passed me. She looked down at me and laughed, saying 'OOH!!! I remember those days of just sitting on the floor in a store.'
After all was said and done, the worker found out that the display model was the only one left. (It was still covered in plastic.) The manager offered it to us for an amazing price and another worker took about 10 minutes to unscrew it from the shelving. The entire time I 'supervised' from the floor.  I was determined to get that glider!!!!!!!

The Wal Mart story is hilarious. I'm glad you got a glider- and better yet, at a great price!!!!

That first guy needs a lesson in manners/etiquette around pregnant ladies!

Couldn't you sit in the floor model glider? Aaaaaaaahhhh, who am I kidding? I sat down on my neighbor's lawn in the middle of walking my dog. I should understand!!!!

The floor model glider was actually up on a shelf. No where to sit. And I wasn't leaving that aisle until someone helped me.

You should scrapbook the incident--take a photo of the glider and the receipt and maybe a photo of the outside of the WalMart store. And you've got yourself a page with a Kelly story.

I should document all these things!!! Good idea Kerie!! 
Mike tells me to write all these down so I can remind him what I did for him when he screams 'I hate you' for the first time.

ok, the man dying of pulmonary diseases should've been shot. i would've called someone on my cell phone and carried on about him loudly (and normally i am anti-loud talking on the cell). i've done it before...people realize they're complete a$$es to pregnant women only after you tell the world.
as for wal-mart...i wish i could've seen this! sounds hysterical!!! i've done black friday shopping and have sat on tvs and such waiting for my partner to find me with a cart! good for you!!! 
oh, and thanks again for crackign me up!!
