A little gross, but can we discuss this neck cheese (for lack of a better word)?
i am CONSTANTLY cleaning sasha's neck, putting aquaphor on it, etc. When we bathe her, extra special care is put into cleaning and drying the neck to make sure it's nice and clean and dry.
this stuff keeps getting in there i guess from eating and spitting up-- and she still is so wrinkly there. it'a impossible to keep up!
any tips on dealing with this-- or is it just a fact of baby's life?

As a cheese lover, it isn't one of my favorite types, but it will get better over time.

As an infant DD had this also. I just tried to keep it dry, I'd clean it with alcohol and if it got very red, I put triple paste on it.

OMG
Seriously though, I found that DD's neck was getting very red even though I'd thoroughly clean and dry in all of the folds several times a day. The Dr. gave me Nystatin cream to help keep the rash under control, it's been working really well!

My dd had it very bad, her neck was raw and the smell OMG but it eventually got better as she started sitting up more I guess more air got to it. We made a mixture of powder n desitin and it worked pretty good.

My daughters got this and they never even spit up so I have no idea how they got it. I would clean it 2-3 times a day. It drove me crazy. It seemed to slow down around 6-9(when my girls started crawling and walking and losing there rolls) months old and it just disappeared one day.
