I never thought she was a talented singer at all. She is a performer but hardly a vocalist of good caliber. Her songs were bubble gum pop at best
However, her performing did give her an excellent career opportunity. People sponged off of that cute "school girl" image for a long time. Now I think someone would love to be the one to rescue her from her own demons and reinvent her. I am sorry but she is not Whitney Houston and Clive Davis will NEVER knock on her door for the comeback of the century.
I pray that her focus in recovery, should she take it seriously, is to make herself well enough to be the best person she can be for her children. Her career needs to take a backseat now. She is young enough where she has enough money to lay low and concentrate on her family. After a decent amount of time goes by, she can resurrect her career and her kids will be happier for it.

Oh that video was HUGE when I was just starting out. Adrien Grenier was so small in that movie and Britney was the huge part even though she was ONLY the soundtrack...Melissa Joan Hart and Britney were on TRL at the time an dit was CUTE as was ANYTHING that Britney that did at the time. She was so innocently sweet at the time . I would have NEVER though that Christina in 1999-2000 that Christina A. would be more grounded (married and PG) as Britney "seemed" the more grounded. ALL performance wise.
I STILL pray that she will find her way.
