A little late-- but I kinda want an upholstered chair/ottoman for Sasha's room.

We have a loveseat sofa in there, that was there before her. I have a slipcover over it, which as you all know-- never really looks right.

Anyway-- I don't really need the chair for nursing per se, but for when she wakes up in the middle of the night, I think a chair/ottoman would be more comfy for me. And it will also give us more wall space to put toy storage, etc. in there. Right now all her toys minus stuffed animals (which are main;y decor) are in the living room.

However, I cannot justify spending $1000 on chair right now-- Is there any place out there that has good upholstered rockers aside from PBK or LON?

I recently bought a Dutalier on closeout from Albee baby since I couldn't justify that expense either being that I have a glider already.

Just be careful when selecting the slipcover - the numbers don't match up right.

ETS: Chairs are $299 and ottoman $199 - no shipping. I just got the chair - came to $326 with tax. According to DH it was a bit of a PITA to put together.

I have the Dutailier also. I rocked DD in it today when she became afraid and was tired. She's 14 months!

ETA: I got mine to match the CRIB rather than the decor, since it will probably wind up in the family room or as a piece of "furniture" after she gets older. I got it in dark brown.

thanks-- which fabric did you get?? They are very hard to see. I don't think that there is anything there that looks like it will match.

Sasha's room is red (her crib is a deep red), her beddiing is b;ack,white and yellow and the walls are yellow. My rug is b & w-- so, I think I need a beige or yellow.

I have that chair in the tufted version. I actually ended up buying my own fabric and having the chair reupholstered. It came out awesome!

I got a Best Chair from BBB. They had a pretty big selection with lots of fabric choices and I wanted to see what was most comfortable.
