A little nervous for HSG tomorrow.
Do I have reason to be?? I am very used to horrible cramping, between AF and my IBS combined with metformin. It shouldn't be more painful than that, right?
Also, I am going alone. This will be ok? I'll be fine to drive home?

Re: A little nervous for HSG tomorrow.
I was fine to drive home. Take some advil beforehand. Everyone seems to have different experiences with the HSG, some feel nothing, others say its very uncomfortable.
I was VERY uncomfortable for about 5 minutes during the HSG. It got better very quickly though. I went home and slept, but I think I was just emotionally drained. If I had to go to work, I would/could have.
Good luck tomorrow!

Re: A little nervous for HSG tomorrow.
Same as above for me... it was very painful/uncomfortable for about 5 minutes but I went back to work right after and taught the rest of the day.

Re: A little nervous for HSG tomorrow.
I had the same as above, but my cramping last for about 2 hours... I went back to work after it, but left about an hour later......it was painfully but I think it was more emotionally draining. I wonder if I felt pain because my only tube was blocked

Re: A little nervous for HSG tomorrow.
Mine was painless and quick. I took advil that morning and within an hour of the procedure. Good luck, the worst part is the anticipation.

Same for me...except I don't teach! It was really only feeling uncomfortable when they shoot the dye in but it was only a couple of minutes.

Re: A little nervous for HSG tomorrow.
For me, it wasn't worse than my worse AF cramps - plus it went away very quickly. I took myself and drove home - no problem at all.
Good Luck & hope you get good news!
