a little sad and jealous today
I know that this has been brought up many times on here but today for some reason it really hurt. I found out a friend of mine is pregnant today (she was not even trying). I love her and am so excited for her. I just can't help feeling a little sad that it is not me. I know that I will get my chance but still a little  and jealous...the ugly green jealousy monster in running rampant in my body right now.

I know that its tough. it's a normal feeling. I think we are capable of being happy for someone else at the same time feeling sad for ourselves....I know I feel that way.

I know exactly how you feel.. last week I found out that a friend was pregnant.. She just had a baby in sept. and she's 2 months preggo now.. I am happy for her but I thought to myself.. ***?!?! She just had one and I've been trying and no luck for me!!

you know what its not even the fact that your friend is prego i think you are more upset that its not happening to you...and when you find someone else is prego u just revert back to WHY AM I NOT PREGO....
So dont be so down on yourself....you love her and you are totally HAPPY for her....dont confuse that with jealously....

That's totally normal. I dated DH for a lot longer than many of my friends did before they were engaged, and I felt the same way when people announced they were engaged. Thrilled for them, but also jealous.

I know how you feel. I am so jealous everytime one of my friends gets pregnant. But everything happens for a reason and our time will come.
Its so natural to have these feelings.
DH told yesterday that we should be thankful for what we do have. Like a house, marriage, jobs, etc
Don't worry! It usually passes but the initial shock of a friend getting pregnant is always hard. You will soon be happy and excited for them.

I overheard a convo today at work where someone said "I can't believe how some people make miserable parents when there are people out there would would make AMAZING parents but have fertility issues and have a hard time having babies" .......... Since we're currently seeing an RE, I wanted to yell out "I know!!" blahh

ITA! Its totally normal to feel this way. I feel like this when I hear someone say it was an "oops" baby or that they werent even trying. All I think is "why not me??" But when its a good friend after a couple of minutes I get over it and try to understand that everything happens for a reason and my friend will be a wonderful mother.

i totally know how you feel. But you know deep down inside you are happy for her and just sad for yourself. I keep telling myself our time will come and since we had to wait a little longer it will be that much more special and exciting!!!
