A Little Sad Tonight
Today my first friend in my development moved down to NC. Although I knew this was coming it was hard for all, including the Kids. When I moved into my home I was 6 months pregnant with my first. A few months later she moved in with a 3 month old girl. Our daughter's were a few months apart and were each other's "first" friends. When I went to say goodbye, amongst all the chaos and moving trucks, I just kind of lost it. The adults were crying harder than the kids. It was so hard. I know that this move is the right thing, at the right time for them. But it was still tough, as we stood together reminiscing about how our daughter's were babies together.
She was such a good friend and neighbor that before she left she called me to meet the new owners because they have a daughter, the age of my youngest daughter. Oh well as I keep telling my daughter, its an adventure for her friend and change can be a very good thing. Now if only I could believe it myself

oh that is so sad
my neighbor is moving next year to Florida and we have become so close and her 2 boys and my 2 girls are the same age and play with eachother every other day
I will be sad when t hey move as well

Having a friend move away is really rough, my best friend moved a couple of weeks ago, and I still find myself walking around the kitchen crying when we hang up the phone
