A little scare and update on AFP reults!!!
So last night at the grocery store, some lady walked right into me, forcing me to bang my basket right into the side of my belly. Dh was all "Oh your fine" but I was a little scared. Add to it I started getting some cramps last night that were worse when I was getting up and walking around. Still feeling the cramps today, and been VERY conscious now when I go to the bathroom, doing the blood check (sorry if TMI) with nothing. So I called the Dr's office and spoke with the nurse I always see there, and told her what had happened. She said I will feel some pain b/c of the trauma to the area, but there is LOTS of padding protecting our little one. And to call back if the cramps get worse or there is bleeding. She then told me that she thought I was calling for the AFP results.... She said all looks good! The Dr will go over it all with me next month!!! YEAH!!! Now I just have to make it thru the next week anxiously (NOT) waiting for the Level 2 next Wednesday!!!!!
Oh, talked to some veteran moms here at work and they said to expect cramping now b/c the baby is growing!!!

Glad everything is okay
People are so rude. i swear when I pg with DD, people would walk into me all the time like i sign on my head that said i am preggo push me over!
Seriously, they would push me into carts, shelves, and i have a big mouth, oh boy
Damn New yorkers in CT
But i am glad you are good, and the results came back okay.
Yes if you around 16-19 weeks, major cramp time, it's popping time!

Oh no - so sorry that happened...sounds like the worst part is just being scared...which I would be too. I think you handled it very well though. And very happy to hear that everything is okay...especially with the AFP.

I am sure you are ok, but I understand being a little scared... I freaked out when my cat ran over my belly one day, of course I was ok and the baby is ok but I was worried as well
