A nice story about a sad situation
An excoworker of mine lost her son Monday, he had a heart attack at 24 yrs old.
She is the nicest lady in the world. I told her onentime I love her bag, and it would be a great diaper bag. She took her stuff out and gave it to me.
So she works in a small luncheonette in Patchogue with my mom. And all the customers and workers are super close. Think Cheers, but with food.
In the week since he passed the customers have donated almost $3000 for her and her family.
So, in a time where every news story you read is awful, sad and depressing here is something nice out of something tragic.
The community pulled together for her, and its a pleasure to see.

So sad but so heart warming that people are still so caring.

it's so nice when people come together and do nice things for other people. You need to things like this once in a while. It makes you feel good too.

Is this Pete's? My mom is a regular there for her lunch break and yourare right-whenever I meet her there for lunch, everyone seems to know each other.
Sorry for her loss but what a great outpouring of support.

Love George's. My parents used to go there several days a week before they moved further out east and I often joined them. The staff and patrons there are just wonderful. It really is it's own little community.

By any chance did he have a baby recently? I am trying to figure our if this is the same person I am thinking of.
Such a horrific tragedy!
