A past D&C any effects on gettting pregnant?
I am scheduled to have a D & C and was wondering if there will be any impact on TTC?
We will be trying in about 9 months or so, and figured I would ask

not that I know of. I had one and waited 8 months, got pregnant on the 3rd month of trying. I'm 15.5 weeks today. good luck! and I am so sorry....

The doc told me after a d & c you are very fertil, so if you want to wait just becareful  Anyhow, I had a d&c and got pregnant 9mos after (9 mos is when I started ttc) Also just wanted to said sorry and good luck.

I had a D&C in November, get pregnant again in February. Definitely should not be an issue.

So many people have D&Cs and go on to have perfectly healthy and normal pregnancies. The key is to wait the right amount of time for your uterine lining to thicken back up, most doctors say 1 - 3 cycles, so 9 months is more than enough time.
I had a D&C in February, started trying again in May/June and just got BFP last weekend.

Actually, I know someone who had a D&C and hasn't been able to conceive again and it's been years. I don't know if there's any connection and I'm not a doctor, but I was wondering if there could be a scarring issue. But I also know many more people who have had D&C's and had no problems at all.
