A rave product for alternative to the Miracle Blanket/ those whose babies break free of the MB
Woombie
So- we've had an awful time trying to break TJ of the swaddle. We've been using the Miracle Blanket with his legs free but it's obvious he WANTS his arms to move more. He doesn't relax anymore when I wrap him, he gets more upset.
BUT, when I lay him down with his arms free, he rubs his face and SCRATCHES himself. Even with socks on his little hands, he'd still pi55 himself off by knocking the paci out, or punching himself. His naps have been a disaster because of this and he's been waking up every 2 hours at night because he just can't get comfortable.
Awhile ago, a poster (wingsofsong) recommended the Woombie. I ordered it but at the time it might have been a little TOO big and gave him too much freedom- he was so used to having NO movement from the Miracle Blanket it was almost too much.
Last night in a fit of desperation, I dug it out and put it on him. And he slept. And right now, he's in his crib taking a nap. He's able to rest yet move his arms around without waking himself up.My goodness, I wish I'd started using this thing right from the get-go. I love the Miracle Blanket, but I ADORE the Woombie.
BTW- they carry them at BRU and Diapers.com. At Diapers.com they're a couple bucks cheaper with free shipping and BRU has them buy 1 get the other 50% off.

This is very similar to the swaddle pod by the maker of the swaddle me. I love it.

Yay! I'm so glad you like it! We had the same problem- Kieran needed the swaddle to sleep better, but wanted the freedom to move his arms. Literally the first time I put him in the Woombie, he did this cute little happy wiggle, and that night, he slept 2 hours longer than he had been. We LOVE the Woombie! I'm so happy your little guy likes it too!

do you think 3 mos is too old to start using it?
DD needs to be swaddled too but likes to move her arms around.

Is it bad that I want to buy this now, without even being pregnant
You know me, I have to have the latest and greatest of everything out there! I am bookmarking this for sure!
ETA: It looks SO much easier then the Miracle Blanket. I hated wrapping and re-wrapping them in the middle of the night.
