a really ridiculous panic moment...
You will love this one: I panicked this morning because I realized that I have no idea what to buy (or register for) to prepare for the baby. And believe me, I have never in my life suffered from any shopping phobia!
Anyone have a registry list they'd like to share?

Buy the Baby Bargains book -- it will tell you exactly what you need and don't need. Its so helpful. I was worried that the book would just be about getting "cheap" stuff, but it wasn't -- it helps you understand what is worth spending more on as well.

Re: a really ridiculous panic moment...
I used the BRU checklist for parents.
I clicked on each item and then decided on what I wanted.
We did it all online which I found way less intimidating.

Re: a really ridiculous panic moment...
I did a combination of what the first and second posters said. I read Baby Bargains and I also read the reviews on the BRU website. DH and I did go to BRU and checked out the products- but then registered on-line in the comforts of our home.
Edited for a typo.
