A Summer School Teacher's Woes (Haiku form)
Tomorrow is the first day of summer school and I start with these thoughts:
Hot summer classroom
Not looking forward to this
Really need the cash
I could have it worse
I could be due in August
DOH! I AM due then!
I am teaching art
Finger paint for everyone
Let them run amok!
Final project is
Paint the pregnant teacher's gut
Primary colors.
Ladies, get me through this. Pray it goes by fast and let this be the VERY last summer I will work at school. Thx!

you are sooo funny!
I must commend you because not only are you teaching summer school, you are teaching summer school pregnant!
Try to take it easy... and make sure to let the kids do lots of things for you like carrying things!

FYI, the a/c isn't working here in the basement where the art room is. I did not hold classes today because I didn't know I was teaching art this summer til the very last minute so I needed to do an inventory of supplies of which there are ZIP! So when the kids come in all nice and hot and sweaty, it should be a REAL treat!!!

I hear ya! I am pg too and am teaching summer school. Unfortunately I don't think its my last one! Fortunately I have a student teacher!!!!
