A total Brag post ..school/Potty training related
I don't often, but I'm so proud of Noah, and want to announce it 
We started school this week through EI , its a 2 and 1/2 hr program, he was used to an 1 ...he was REALLY upset today, begging me crying, " Mama Don't leave me, PLEASE PLEASE don't leave." .
It took ALL I had, ALL I HAD to walk out, and I questioned it for the next 2 and 1/2 hours, felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest.
We started Potty training Monday...First day was a disaster, then the last 2 days, dry through the night, not one accident!
Anyway, as I was walking out, he said ( screamed through tears) ...Momma..Momma, the pee pee come, pee pee come...and I had to keep going, had to let them deal with it and it KILLED ME. It killed me. He wanted me to be proud. He didnt want to have an accident, and I had to leave b/c it would have made it worse.
Anyway, the GOOD NEWS is that I came back and he was OK. Not perfect, but he did ok, he stopped crying AND he told them to take him to do pee pee in the big boy bathroom , he did and stayed dry.
Just now he said to me.."MAMA"...And I was kinda busy so was like "yeah?" over my shoulder, so he said again louder, MAMA....I turned and looked at him and he said" You came back..Thank you for coming back."
OMG, Its too much.
How can a heart feel this much for someone?  I'm so sad, Proud , so many things.....And this is only potty training and SCHOOL......What about the BIG stuff. How will I deal?

So many congratulations are in order! First off yay to Noah for going to his 1st day of school and taking it like a champ. Clearly he was able to find some form of comfort if he asked the teacher to take him to the bathroom!
Second, it is so sweet that he said thank you for coming back. Which is exactly what you should tell him next time at drop off. "Remember, mommy always comes back to get you".

Both are two HUGE things in my opinion. So much to be proud of! Go Noah! You know my story with Jack when he started school. It took him exactly one month to figure out that he liked it and that I was coming back. It is complete torture though. I cried on a daily basis after I left him.
