A total stranger just made my day
A man in his 80's was standing in front of me in the line at the grocery store this morning.
The whole time he was looking at Johnny, and Johnny was looking at him and smiling. The man was making funny faces at him and it was really making Johnny smile...
His groceries were in the cart and he went to leave...but he stopped and came up to us and said to me "you're doing a wonderful job with this kid, he's a great boy".
It sounds really dumb..I mean he doesn't know me (I could be the worst mom ever, lol) but that little comment made my day. I thanked him and started getting teary eyed (pms lol!). He then said "being a parent is the best thing that will ever happen to you, enjoy every minute with that boy"
I just wanted to share. Funny how a comment from a stranger just made my entire day. It started out as a tough morning but got better

I almost said to him "you haven't seen the crazy kid he is!" but i stopped myself and took the compliment for what its worth.
It's so nice when strangers comment on what a good boy i have, lol!

Awww, that great to hear.
An old man did that to Jared the other day while I was paying for groceries. He told me that he's so well behaved.
I laughed and did a little  to myself and thought...yeah today he's good.

It is nice to hear that isn't it? It definitely puts a smile on my face and makes my day.
My son is only 7.5 months but I get it all the time as well...I love when my SILs tell me what a great job I'm doing thus far as a mom...how I handle and nurture him
