ABA Therapy
Has anyone ever had it for an older child, outside of the school setting?

Re: ABA Therapy
My son is in EI getting it, but the center he was receiving PT in had kids getting ABA there. I was waiting to talk to the receptionist one night and one of the ABA therapists was talking to a mom about her son's session-they were working on having him focus with decreased sensory integration.
I asked the therapist about receiving ABA there and she said a lot of people do it through insurance and I said I didn't realize it was covered and she said yes, with most insurances as long as there is a formal diagnosis, sessions are covered (with co-pay of course).
Sorry, not sure if this what you were asking. But this is my very limited experience.

Re: ABA Therapy
My son gets behavior therapy through ABA. It is how my insurance covers it.

Re: ABA Therapy
I do ABA therapy for older (school aged) children after school hours through an agency. My students have all had it as an extended IEP mandate but some parents do private pay for it.

Re: ABA Therapy
Most insurance plans cover ABA therapy for children at home. As long as the child is covered under the insurance, you can get services until age 26 I believe.
