ABBY Got her 1st grooming!( added some pics!)

I was SOOO scared. We dropped her off at 9am and she was ready at like 1:15 or so....But at liek 12:00 I started saying to DH...Lets go get her, Im nervous....LMAO. What a nervous Mom.

SO Our darling ran to the groomer and was licking her etc,,,,Unfortunatly she wasnt so sweet when WE LEFT.

The groomer said, she shows some agression you might want to nip in the bud.

How do we do that if she never shows US any agression?

She made me feel like I had a bad doggy Chat Icon

But she was a nice lady and Abby looks so clean!

This is right after her being groomed ( the Purple bow the lady put in her hair didnt last very long)

YOu can see she actually HAS PAWS here!

Awwwwwwwww Donna...i woudln' worry about it

Martin got the "red dot" at the Vets

I cried the whole way home..

But my mom said..UH, what do you expect from a dog who is going to a place where they cut his ears, gives him needles and where he goes when he isn't feeling well..

Is anyone expected to be nice?

Same with the groomer..IMO.

They are pulling the dog this way and the other. Clipping them and shaving them and what not..

I woudl tell the groomer to use a muzzle ..and do the job

This is what we said.
Gizmo went through a stage where he was very aggressive with one of the groomers. I mean, there was nothing we could do about it to "train" him, since he was never aggressive with us, or with some other groomers. If you don't see this behavior at home then how are you expected to stop it? He does act up at the vet when they take his temp Chat Icon but who could blame him?
We told the groomer to just use a muzzle from now on. When we switched groomers, we told them to use the muzzle, but when we picked him up they said he was very good and they didn't need the muzzle! So it also might depend on how good each specific groomer is with dealing with animals.
