? About cosmetics from Macy's
I just bought a MAC lip lacquer at the MAC counter at Macy's at Smitthaven mall yesterday. I had tested it on my hand and felt fine with the color. When I used it today, it comes out much brighter on my lips than I had anticipated and really don't like it much . . .
Do you think they will take it back?

I think if you have the box and receipt they will. I don't know if they will refund you, but I am sure they will probably exchange it.

I know clinique takes makeup back if you bring it home and dont like it... it is worth a try!

yes, I wouldn't actually want to get my money back, I would be happy exchanging it for another color. I have the receipt and everything and If I have to keep it, I will.
The color just surprised me. It was a pale beigy color with a pink iridescence to it, but on the entire lip it is like a cotton candy pink color- way too much for me.

I'd try it. A lot of drugstores will exchange makeup now, I can't see why Macy's, selling higher-end cosmetics wouldn't.

Does mac have a return policy on the website? I would think it would be up to mac since it is the mac place in macy's.

I believe they take all cosmetics back, as long as you have the receipt.

I just looked at it on the website and it doesn't look the same on the website either. In the tube, on the lip and on the website looks like 3 different colors . . .

I looked and it said that the website's policy may differ from MAC stores and counters- odd . . . .
