? about fevers and daycare
Roman's daycare has a policy that if any kid has a fever of 100.5 or more they must go home. Since he is teething he has a fever it's been no higher than 100.0 at daycare. Last night he had a fever of 100.5. My question is, if it is normal to have a fever while teething how are any kids supposed to go to daycare while teething? How long do the fevers last while teething?

Will they let you bring in a Dr's note stating that it is from teething?

Re: ? about fevers and daycare
Sydney was at daycare yesterday with a fever of 100.6 .... they called me and guessed it was due to teething and kept an eye on it to see if it raised and it did not.

Re: ? about fevers and daycare
They know he is not really sick. I brought him to the Dr. last week because strep was going around his classroom, and the Dr. told me he was fine just teething. The thing is this is their policy. Meanwhile, I'm sure there are plenty of kids around there with no fevers who are really sick
