about hospital "things"
Can you take the receiving blankets from the hospital? Someone at work said that you can, but my mom said no, you can't.
Did anyone take the blankets and other goodies that they bring into the room?

Yes, we took it ALL. Everything but the crib the babies sleep in! It was encouraged and the last day they pack the crib full of diapers, formula, and all kinds of goodies for you to take home.

Re: about hospital "things"
you can take everything that is in the baby's little bassinet. I asked the nurse bc I felt weird just taking it - she said YES take it all - the blanket, the little t-shirt, diapers, formula, passifier, A&D ointment, etc. Everything! It was great! They gave us a free diaper bag too filled with stuff from Similac.

Re: about hospital "things"
we took a few blankets (under the guise of them smelling like the baby so Louie, our dog, could get used to it!),, they told us to take the diapers - and we also stole a few shirts (dd wears them to bed at times still!)

Re: about hospital "things"
I guess I'm the oddball. I didn't take much. Just the nose sucker and this huge blanket that they were using to keep her warm with. I guess I felt like I had enough stuff at home that I didn't need anymore.
