About my cousin...some good news?
I'm not quite sure how this is possible...perhaps a little miracle prolonging her life, but you may recall her feeding tube was removed at her request. We heard over the weekend that she is able to eat normal food...without a tube. All of a sudden, she was able to eat. She is about 85 pounds...but wow, is there a glimmer of hope her body is fighting? When they opened her up to operate, they couldn't even do it; cancer had spread everywhere, and that's when all this got really really serious and bad. I don't know what to think! I'm happy...b/c I expected to get "the call" this weekend, and instead we heard this.
