AC/Heating specialist

Hey Ladies,
Our engineers report came back and suggested getting a AC specialist in there to look inside the AC unit because of the season (winter) our engineer was unable to turn the central air on. Does anyone know of any that would break our bank? Its like a 10 minute job. thanks

Re: AC/Heating specialist

The engineer should be able to recommend someone who could help, and if not, try the yellow pages.

Re: AC/Heating specialist

I was going to try that today during lunch but if anyone knows of anyone, then I try that means. My mom's co-workers husband is a AC specialist and my mom's friend is going to contact him. Hopefully because it shouldn't be expensive but I'm afraid if I go through the phone book, I'll pay like $300 just for them to look at the unit. They cannot turn it on, its just to make sure looking inside. A specialist would be able to tell if its working that way. The engineer suggested someone but they aren't available because he is on vacation. We need someone in there by Sunday because contracts are being signed next weekend. The owners want out in Feb because there house is ready in NC (its new construction). One of the reasons we are able to do this is because we are so flexiable with timing.

Re: AC/Heating specialist

we called Sears to look at ours. i think we got some sort of special...it was around $80 for the call.

Call them and see how much it would be.
