accent color hep - nantucket gray
Help!! I dont have an eye for decorating!!
Living room wall is nantucket gray by BM (shown below... web image - not our house).
We bought a beige couch. I want to get two accent chairs with a pattern, not solid color.... so, what color goes with the wall for the living room decor (ie. accent for chairs, pillows, vases, etc...) Do i have to stick to green/brown/beige? Do any other colors go?

Grey and beige are both neutrals you can put any colors with them.

Re: accent color hep - nantucket gray
I agree -- these are essentially neutrals. I have Nantucket Grey on the walls of my third bedroom, which is an office/guest space. We have a beige couch and dark wood furniture (desk, book case).
I have accents/accessories of dark red and deep blue/grey (almost like a Wedgewood blue).
But I think you can do almost any color. I would go with brights or jewel tones... saturated colors (instead of pastels).
With accent colors, I think you want something that will add rich color and make a statement, so I wouldn't stick to greens and beiges. I actually would steer clear of greens, because I think they might clash with the paint color.

We just did our den in light gray. Well it's BM Pewter Revere which is a gray/beige and have a pale taupe couch. We are adding navy and yellow accents with pillows, drapes, accent pieces. And did a navy diamond pattern area rug. I love the way it looks.
