Accent Wall
Are people still doing Accent Walls?
I always liked the way that it looked. I am moving at the end of the month and want to paint my new bedroom a light blue with the wall behind my bed and warmer blue.
Is this still done or would it look out-dated?
TIA

Re: Accent Wall
I don't know if it's outdated but I love the look and I've been thinking about doing it in our bedroom. I would probably do a faux finish on the accent wall. If you like it, do it. It's just paint. You can always paint over it.

Re: Accent Wall
I'm doing a suede accent wall in a tan/brownish color and the other 3 walls a lighter tan in my living room. I think an accent wall would look great!

Re: Accent Wall
I did accent walls in the living room & master bedroom in my townhouse & in our house I sort of have an accent wall. Our great room & kitchen make an L-shape, the color in my kitchen is very bold but I didn't want the whole big great room that color too, so I used it on the common wall & all walls in the kitchen & used a much more neutra color on the other three walls of the great room.l
