accountant help (tax question)
i purchased my home in august 2010. When we did our taxes in 2011 we did short form and didn't put any of the closing costs etc.. can we do it this year or how does that work?

Re: accountant help (tax question)
I am no accountant but wouldn't you have to fine an amended return for 2010?
You may want to talk to a tax professional about this. Why wouldn't you declare your appropriate closing costs on your 2010 return knowing you bought a house?

I would recommend Kara (kittythestray). She's a vendor on here with Saranto Calamas. She handles our taxes and answers any questions we have during the year. Here is their office information

Re: accountant help (tax question)
You definitely need to amend your 2010 taxes, there is a lot more than just closing costs that can probably be deducted.
If you have any questions or you'd like the help of a professional to amend your return feel free to call me. I am a vendor on the site and my wife and i have been using this site for a long time.
