Acela Club at Shea Nu...
Anyone go for dinner yet? We're going next Tueday for DH's b-day. Just wondering how good or bad it was! Oh, and how long did it take to hear back about your reservation confirmation? TIA!

Yeah, there's a whole bunch of seats you can get that allow you access. I know dinner is a set price of $48.00 per person. Looks like some sort of soup/salad/appitizer buffet and then an entree choice. I'm sure it's totally not worth it, but it's DH's b-day and I do spoil him with his Met's!

Re: Acela Club at Shea Nu...
DH and I just went yesterday. The food was very good, service was friendly, and we had a great table by the window overlooking the field. I'm glad we were able to experience it once, but it's definitely not something we could afford to do again!
It was $10/pp extra to sit by the window. Then for $41/pp, it included a small buffet of a few soups and salads, cheeses and breads as your appetizer, and a choice of maybe 8 entrees. I had the grilled skirt steak w/salsa verde, which came with sweet potato fries, and DH had crab cakes which was accompanied by vegetables. Both were really good. Some other choices were a burger, ribs, sausage and broccoli rabe, lemon chicken, swordfish. Additional veggies and sides were available for $5 each. We ordered one of the least expensive bottles of wine on the wine list for about $40, wines by the glass averaged about $12. Desserts were $8 each.
Have a great time!!
