acid reflux????
I keep getting heartburn pains that come and go, DH thinks its acid reflux. Im afraid it is going to ruin my esophogus.
This happen to anyone. The burning comes and goes throughout the day

Honey- this is the story of my life!
Ask your doctor about taking Pepsid AC- I take it once a day and it takes the edge off.
Have you tried Mylanta or Malox?
Sorry you have this. It stinks!

use tums, they are full of needed calcium, I use to pop them like crazy. Also drink a glass of milk after you eat or got o the health food stire and get papya supplements, they aid in digestion. I hate to say this Diane, but it get sworse as the babies get bigger since your diaghram and esophogus are pushed up so it feels like yopur stomach acid is in your throat. Hang in there. Lots of water too!

Mylanta and Malox are totally safe. It is on my list of approved medicines and several other girls on this site metioned that the orange cream mylanta tastes the best.
My doctor said Pepsid is totally safe, but just ask before you take that.

I have horrid horrid heartburn & acid reflux - Im convinced my esophagus is already damaged and plan on seeing a gastroenterologist after the baby is born. But for now, the only thing that helps me is Pepcid Complete. I swear, the amount of $$ I spend on them is insane but they work and give instant relief.

Yes I heard that too. I failed to mention that I started getting it before I had my first child and it intensified with each pregnancy. I've had it for about 5 yrs now.
I feel so bad for an infant having reflux.

I had this alot!! I drank chocolate milk and that helped. Also I took alot of tums, mylanta and pepcid
