I didn't have any power last night until about midnight  I thought I was going to

I am SO bringing a flashlight on the train with me today.
I am so freaked out riding the subway.
During the blackout of 03, I was supposed to be on the subway, I would have jsut gone underground when the power went out, but I was late for work, and i remember it was weird..I was running about 15 min late and I was thinking "why am I late, I did everything on time?" when the power went out. I guess i was meant to be late

We're in the North Wantagh area. LIPA's message just said they were having outages across the island and they do not have an estimate of when it will be fixed. 
When I checked their website (click on Hempstead) it shows that almost 2,000 people in North Wantagh are without power!! I hope it comes back soon!

We had no power for about an hour last night. Thankfully it wasnt in the middle of the day when its the hotest! I hope it comes back soon for you.

Oh jeez - the updated LIPA power outage map is now showing that 3,794 people in North Wantagh are w/out power!! This stinks!!

Wow I am on the edge of N. Wantagh --- but I have power, thank heavens -- I work from home so I need my computer! And the a/c of course.
I know my cousin in Bellmore had no power last night...
