Acme's "Pink Together" sale... love it!

since i'm still relatively new to couponing, this was a new one for me

acme is having a sale this week called "pink together". if you buy $25 of selected items, you get $10 back for your next purchase.

with the help of other coupon-ers, this is what i was able to put together.

(3) betty crocker cake mix
(3) betty crocker frosting
(3) hamburger helper
(2) betty crocker cookie mix

with the sale prices and coupons, my OOP expense was $6.28

and i walk out of the store with $12 off my next purchase.

what a wonderful money maker!

i'm loving couponing more and more every day

here is the trick though....

are you buying things you NEED or buying it because it's on sale??
This is my weakness at times. I love getting a bargain, but maybe I didn't need it.

you're right. there have been times i've spent too much because i was saving so much lol

i did this deal about 4 times, total. i bought many things my family needs and the items that we don't need, i'm putting aside to donate to my local foo bank.

at the end, the last $10 via catalina, i was able to get very much needed items: milk, cheese, pasta, and SO's doritos lol

all in all, it was a good deal and a learning experience about coupons, deals, managers, registers, store policies, catalina deals, and i have food to donate. i'll call it a win-win
