Activities for three month olds! help! (schedule included)

I was wondering what everyone does or has done with their three month olds during the day to keep them busy?

this is our schedule for the most part: (my kids HATE napping)

6:30am bottle
7:00 - 8:30am back to sleep
8:30am - change into day clothes and go in their chairs until i get their bottles ready, chores done, etc.
9:30am - bottles
10:00am - 10:30am - story time
10:30am-11:30am - Nap
11:30am-12:30am play
12:30am - bottles
1:00-1:30pm - play
1:30pm-2:30pm - Nap
2:30 - 6:00 - play with little cat naps in between
6:30pm - baths, bottles
7:30pm BED

the play includes going in their bouncy seats, in their excersaucer, tummy time, play mat time, listening to music

is there anything else i should be doing with them?

should i be trying to teach them to roll over or do they do that on their own?

thank you!!

sounds like you are doing great.
The fact that your 3 mo olds are on any sort of a napping schedule sounds good to me....my DD was not on a nap schedule until she was 6 mos old.

Oh really? great! thank you! i always feel like maybe i should be doing more with them - or different things with them but i dont know what else to do!

the napping schedule is definitely a work in progress - some days it works out great and other days it's a total disaster!

Sounds great what you are doing. I know the feeling like your not doing enough but believe me you are. Now thinking back to that time- I wish I just hung out with DS more instead of trying to pack in a million things. They'll be very active before you know it so just enjoy this chill time while your in it. Go for a walk when the weather gets nice or just listen to music while cuddling with them.

I was just going to add maybe looking at books. DS LOVED books his whole life. When it gets nice out, goign for walks, too.

Sounds like you're doing great! I don't think we have to "teach" them that much, I think they are natural learners. Chat Icon

thank you all so much! you have definitely made me feel much better

you're so right - i think spending time with them should be #1 on my list. i get worried so much sometimes that i should be doing more i think i lose sight of reality!

and i cannot wait until it gets warmer out - i really want to take them on walks!
