acupuncture rec
Can anyone recommend thier acupuncturiest (sp?).
I'm looking for someone in NYC or around the nassau/suffolk border.

lol, I know we so are! I think it could really help, just need to find someone who specializes in infertility. how would I got about finding that?

Def asking on here, or even ask your RE. Don't trust the actual accupuncture person to be honest about it. I had called and asked about infertility, they told me it was a "specialty" but didn't even know what PCOS was when I got there!!

I used Andrea at LI Holistic. Lots of other women on here used her for IF as well. I liked her a lot and felt super relaxed afterwards, but I have no idea if it helped or not. I got BFNs with and without it.

I also used Andrea at LI Holistic. I really liked her and I did have success with my IVF while going to her.

I only went once, but I went to the Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness. It's in Manhattan - on 40th and Madison. The only reason I didn't go back is because I felt that acupuncture wasn't for me.

Thank you! This place looks great! I gave them a call but the initial consultation is 2 hours 
So I need to figure out when I can do that during working hours! It may be too late to start this cycle, I'm a little over a week from my IUI.

I know they also do a free 15 minute consult with the nturitionist or massage terhapist - maybe they could atleast give you some suggestsions in the mean time. And I think Dr. Berkley will also do a phone consult for 30minutes for $75 (I just called).

My RE is affiliated with the Berkley Center and he shares offices with them. I have not used their services, but the office walls are covered with thank you notes from couples who were successful because of the treatments.

She is Great!!! I use her also, I also believe that hse has an office right in the lil town of Oyster Bay... that might be closer for you...
