ADD help for 20yr old DESPERATELY needed!
Our daughter was diagnosed three years ago, and we were essentially handed a script and sent on our way.
She has been slowly falling apart in every way since high school. She was successful in her highly structured catholic high school, but without having every aspect of her day planned for her (as in her H.S.), she is a disaster. Her executive functioing and metacognition are especially bad.
We cannot find help ANYWHERE and are desperate. Our doctors are useless. Surely, this is something more that can be done for ADD other than "talk" (psycho-dynamic) therapy and medication? (Not that these are working.)
She sees a neuropsychiatrist who seems clueless. I wonder: are there tests which should have been done? something we missed? We have done so much research, and are simply despairing.
TIA for any recommendations and help.

I don't have a ton of experience with them, but what about what was formerly the VESID program in NYS?
I believe they recently renamed it to something else.
