Adderall strenghts

This is probably silly or my imagination. I got 5mg adderall from one pharmacy & when I refilled script I got 10mg at another one. I feel like the 10mg is not as strong or lasting as long as the 2 5mgs I took. Is this possible?

Were they generic? Were they both the same or was one XR (extended release)?

Odd. I was on adderall for 5 years, since i was diagnosed adhd, and once they went generic, it didn't work the same for me. Spoke to my dr and i switched meds and its been 100% better. The generic adderall was off for me too...one day it worked fine, next too strong, next too weak.....I've been on another med for over a year now...and as much as i thought adderall "saved my life", the generic stunk....and i'm doing a lot better now.

Can you make a dr appt and discuss this? If it isn't working right, you need to get an adjustment.

Also, you aren't drinking any Vitamin c three hours from taking pill right?? Have you tried taking a tums with it to neutralize your stomach to make it work the best it can?

I'm really into adhd since i was diagnosed, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask, i have a lot of resources i can share with you that helped me out alot.

Yeah its def not working the same for me but I am super stressed right now with finals & board exams. Could that be it?

I'm going to call my Dr today & see what she says. I have less than 2 weeks to finals. I don't know if I should change now or not.

Nope I don't drink anything with Vit C & I have never heard about taking tums.

I will take any info you can give me. Thank you for taking the time to answer me.

I have been taking adderall for over 5 years (on a break now that I am nursing and was pregnant) and I have never heard of the vitamin c thing or the tums thing. Can you fill me in lol?
