addiction/ dependency to meds.
Is anyone on anything that they currently are afraid of addiction or are already dependent on?
Currently I take klonopin and its highly addictive. I try to take only when needed and at a very small dosage but recently I have had alot of anxiety and had to take almost everynight this week to fall asleep. Its the only thing that has helped me to sleep. I fear dependency on this now. I On a the positive side I have been able to come off of paxil and that wasnt too bad.

Re: addiction/ dependency to meds.
I was on Xanax for 7 months for anxiety disorder, and I loved that it calmed me down, but was scared to get addicted so I used it only when I had to - then I got preggo and you can't take it - so I threw them out and haven't needed them since.

Re: addiction/ dependency to meds.
I was on Zoloft and Lexapro. They really helped and it's not addicting.
I took Xanax for episodal problems but not a lot.
maintenance meds don't have the same dependence issues as eposidal meds.

i was on paxil a few years ago and i felt it was very addictive. if i missed a dose i felt very lightheaded and would get these spurts of what felt like electricity through my body (sounds weird, i know)
