I thnk Adele's voice blows away Amy Winehouse. That and she doesn't seem to be a red hot mess.

Completely agree. They both have a smokey/jazzy feel to their voices.. but Adele is just light years ahead with her control, sound and musicality.. imo.

Overall she IS different. I should have mentioned I was mostly referring to her last song "Rolling in the Deep". I felt it was something Amy Winehouse could have sung too. Similar voice in that particular song.
