Adhesive for kids crafts

What type of adhesive do you use for kids crafts? Items like soft pom poms, eyes, foam non sticky kind? I tried Elmers and that didnt help at all. Glue sticks I find only work well for paper to paper projects. I thought of trying double sided tape but would think that would get expensive. At our mommy and me we have glued the eyes before with generix Elmers glue and that has worked. But it didn't for me with the good stuff Chat Icon

I don't know about working with foam but fabric glue might work well on the pom poms. There's also this craft glue called tacky something...it's in a brownish/bronzy bottle. It might eork better then elmers.

It's called Aleene's Tacky Glue. I know they have it in Michaels & AC Moores.

Thats what I would recommend! I use that with my Girl Scouts. It easy to used....I put it in plates and the girls use paint brushes to apply it. and it washable.

That was I used when I WAS a Girl Scout, in the mid 80s. I can't believe I remembered the name, but I was going to suggest the same thing.Chat Icon
