yes, but the girl told me that if you go to the coupon sheet.... you can print out one coupon - takes $2 off per person, so for the 3 of you it would be $39. but it covers EVERYTHING.... just not the price of the pumpkin that you walk out of the patch with!

When I went I had to pay the fee to get in plus what ever pumpkins we bought, but that was 2 years ago so maybe it changed.

So if we only want to go pumpkin picking there is no fee to get into the patch? Just pay for the pumpkins and go? So long as we don't do the other activities?

Re: Admission Fee for White Post

When you pay the fee... the woman explained to me that EVERYTHING was covered....

Unless you want to buy things... caramel apples, pumpkins, things like that... you will have to buy solo.

Hay rides and little theatres are covered in the admission price.

That's how I understood what she said.

Re: Admission Fee for White Post

The last time I went with DD (2 weeks ago)- I didn't have to pay for her. I think with the coupon, it was around $23 for 2 adults.

It does include the picking of the pumpkin, but to purchase a pumpkin, that is extra. Hayrides are free, the petting zoo is free, but if you want to feed the animals, you have to buy the food. Its also a fee for horse rides ($5).

No, you still have to pay to get in- even if you are just going to pumpkin picking.

Re: Admission Fee for White Post

Babies 16 months and under are free.

If you have an entertainment book, there are buy one get one free admission coupons in it. If you don't have one, I would buy it, they are $25 I believe and have a bunch of great coupons!

Re: Admission Fee for White Post

What about going to Lewin's? There is no fee and it is a real farm where you pick them off vine. You just pay for the pumpkins. It is a little far (Wading River I think) but to me it beats White Post. At white post the pumpkins are picked and just in a little patch. I think after an hour or hour and half their isn['t much to do.
We went last year to 2 places like Lewin's by me in NJ and DS was 18 months and he absolutely love it. He had so much fun and plus I think Lewin's does apple picking too so you can always go apple picking after wards. He will be able to reach most of the apples since they are low.

If you are just looking for pumpkin picking, then I wouldn't go to White Post.

I'd plan on spending a few hours at White Post, since it can get expensive and there is a lot to do. We were there for over 3 hours the other weekend and we didn't even do it all.

It's cheaper during the weekdays, plus if you sign up for the mailing list on their website, you can get $3 off coupons.
