Adrienne Maloof Admits to Surrogacy

Shortly after that episode air, there was a rumor that Brandi told the other ghouls that Adrienne used a surrogate to have her kids, because she didn't want to mess up her body. UsWeekly repeated that rumor last week. Adrienne wasn't ready to talk about it, but then Life & Style waved a check at her and suddenly she was ready! Adrienne says that her and her now estranged husband Paul did use a surrogate to have their twin boys, but she didn't use one because she didn't want to get fat. They used a surrogate because she had a lot of complications when she was pregnant with her fist kid. Adrienne was waiting until her twins were older to tell them that they didn't bake in her uterus, but Brandi took that away from her!!!!!!!!!
“I would think Brandi, being a single mother, would have a heart and understand my feelings, where I’m coming from. Brandi took away something so precious from our family. Brandi did destroy our family. Right now I’m really hurt and upset, especially because I’ve stuck up for Brandi as a mother in the past.”

It's amazing what some people will say for money. Now I'm fairly certain SHE (Adrienne) was selling stories to Radar Online & not Lisa.

I don't know.....I don't see Adrienne needing the money, you know? She is crazy rich.....this was an issue that was deeply personal and Brandi blabbed it. As much as I don't love Adrienne this season, Brandi was wrong as hell for saying this on TV.....Adrienne has always kept her children off the show as much as possible to protect them......

This. She has more money than God, but what an awful way for her children to find out something so personal. I don't care how much of an asshole someone is, you just don't blab something like this to the public. Brandi is a biotch for even mentioning it.

My feeling is this. You put yourself on a reality show and this isn't the first reality show ever. You know your life is going to be put under a microscope and she should have known this. I don't understand how these "stars" think they can keep things like that a secret, it always comes out, always. I think she did more of a disservice by not acknowledging the fact that she used a surrogate from the very beginning. It's really no big deal, she has created it as a big deal because she hid it. My child was adopted and she knew from day one. It does not make a difference how those children got here, she is their mom. I find it sad that she is embarrassed of the fact she used the surrogate no matter what reason she had to do it.

honestly the shows are taped so if they didn't want that aired they wouldn't have aired the dirty laundry! The whole show is fake and this is all for publicity.. Im sure she wasn't happy with how things went down but I can't believe it wasn't something that they could have edited out so it wouldn't be shown to a gazillion amount of people.

ITA! I wonder if she wanted that whole storyline erased, but compromised on them dumping out what Brandi said.

No. She never should have been forced to reveal this - it's no one's business but her own and her family's.
even if you're a reality star, some personal business should be respected. You're still a person with feelings and life shit that should be respected by other human beings.
I think Brandy has a lot of issues and is cruel for kicks but it only makes her look like a big *****. IF she is that evil to do this, to be capable of hurting someone and their kids so much, it's not hard to see why her husband cheated on her. And I like Brandy, she seems funny, but she has a long way to go in evolving into a good person and I hope she releases some anger she has and changes.
Some things in life - some secrets - are and should be untouchable and unspeakable.
This is one of them.
Maybe the kids didn't even know yet.
How would Brandy feel if that were done to her and her kids?
What did Brandy gain by doing this? What was her intent? Did anything good come out of it except hurting someone? Nada. She just wanted to be evil for fun and wield some power of some info she knew. She didn't use it in a positive or supportive way. She was malicious, probably because she is so miserable in her own life and needs to disrupt others.
I hate women like that. It's almost as if since they are unhappy, they will try to knock you down, too.
Luckily, karma is a *****. She will get hers in due time, just like everyone does.
Goes back to my motto....if you wouldn't want it done to you...then don't do it to someone else.

eh, I don't feel sorry for her at all honestly. I think there is alot here that we don't see and alot of real shadiness on her and her husband's part and, I think this season has really shown her true colors - she seems to think that her money makes her above everyone else and there are special rules that apply only to her.
Was Brandi wrong in "outing" her like that - absolutely - but, I don't think it was malicious at all. I don't even like Brandi and I still feel sorry for her. She is the only one on the show that is poor and alone and basically trying to move forward after her life was publicly destroyed and she was totally shamed. I think she just tries to hold her own in a world where she doesn't matter at all because she is poor and a public embarassment and can't do anything for the other cast mates. I think she lashes out without speaking just to try to defend herself because frankly, except for Lisa - it seems like money talks for everyone else and she is pretty much an irrelevant joke to them.
As for Adrienne - I don't know too much about her situation other than what I've read on here and seen on RHOBH but, the whole thing seems really shady to me and really pretentious on her part. What is the shame in surrogacy if it is dangerous to carry your own child? Why would she go to this extent to hide it? What did she do when she was "supposed" to be pregnant that she was able to maintain this whole secret? Did she pretend to be pregnant? Did she show her kids fake pictures? What about her older child did she have to pretend to him too that she was pregnant? I can't imagine that the answers to these questions would be anything but disturbing. Why is she on a reality show to begin with - she already has money and fame what is the point? And, if she has such a bizarre secret that her own children don't even know why would she put her life on such display when she clearly doesn't need to for any rational purpose? Nothing makes sense. Also, I don't see what Brandi would have to gain in creating a fake vendetta against her. I'm sure she was telling the truth - Adrienne seems like a really conniving evil person that uses people around her that flock to her because of her money. Finally, the way she and her DH have reacted to this whole thing with lawsuits and the way her DH attacked Brandi was frankly disgusting.

I've had the same thoughts about her faking it. I think I read somewhere she did wear a faux belly & faked it.
