This is what I have for the Coliseum, the code is only good on the $30 price point tickets.
"As a preferred customer, SAVE $5 and get the best seats in the
house before they go on sale when you use code NVMC!
*Discount valid on the $30 price level only. Restrictions apply."

The code needs to be used to purchase ANY pre-sale tix. If you use the code to purchase pre-sale tix that are at the $30 price level you will also receive the $5 discount.
ETA: This is for Nassau Coliseum
